This privately owned service has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. It helps visitors locate Pamlico County and North Carolina inmate and jail record resources. Neither the service nor its advertising partners offers credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services. We are not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.
Purpose of the Service
Pamlico County Released Inmates is a private reference service. It does not keep official records, confirm whether a person is in custody, carry out a release, or file a request or court document for a visitor. No government office approves or operates it.
The service points toward Pamlico County Jail, NC DAC, court, supervision, federal, immigration, and other record sources. It may also connect visitors to independently operated research tools.
Acceptable Use Rules
Use must remain lawful and must not harm people, systems, or other visitors. By continuing, you agree that you will not:
- Use the service in violation of any law
- Stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate another person
- Use information for prohibited hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
- Try to enter accounts, servers, or data without permission
- Deploy automated bots, scrapers, or similar collection tools
- Interfere with access, performance, or use by others
No Consumer Reports
Pamlico County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. You agree not to use information obtained here for any purpose regulated by the FCRA, including:
- Hiring, firing, or another employment decision
- Tenant selection or any housing-screening decision
- Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums
- Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
- Any other decision governed by the FCRA
Services Outside Our Control
Links may open release records, sheriff and corrections pages, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control the destination’s content, privacy practices, data handling, pricing, terms, or availability. Review its own policies before using it.
Service Provided As Is
All content and access are supplied “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest degree allowed by law, we make no warranty concerning:
- The accuracy, completeness, or current state of information
- Continuous or uninterrupted availability
- The absence of errors, bugs, or security weaknesses
- The range or completeness of partner search results
Custody status and public records can change at any time. Nothing published here is an official statement by the Pamlico County Sheriff’s Office, NC DAC, a court, or another government agency.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pamlico County Released Inmates and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages arising from access to, inability to access, or reliance on the service.
Your Duty to Indemnify
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the service and its operators harmless from claims, losses, obligations, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that result from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Ownership of Site Materials
Text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code are owned by Pamlico County Released Inmates or its content partners unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify those materials without prior written permission.
Updates to These Conditions
We may revise these terms at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated terms are posted, and later use of the service signifies acceptance of that version.
Restriction or Loss of Access
We may restrict, suspend, or end access at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.
North Carolina Governing Law
North Carolina law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Applicable state consumer-protection provisions appear in Chapter 75 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina.
If One Term Is Invalid
If a court finds one part invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be adjusted only to the minimum extent needed to make it valid and enforceable.
